Meet Cindy Ermatinger

Born in Bartlesville, OK, in 1959, Cindy Ermatinger graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University in 1981. She earned her law degree from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in 1994.

Cindy served as a prosecutor in the Dallas County District Attorney’s office, and as assistant district attorney in the Ellis County District Attorney’s office, where she developed an intimate knowledge of the law concerning juvenile cases, family violence, and sex crimes. She has maintained a successful private practice in criminal defense law since 2002. Cindy Ermatinger is well respected in the legal community. She has a reputation for being thorough with your case and for being a fierce trial attorney. She always goes that extra mile for her clients.

Cindy has been specially appointed by the First Administrative Judicial Region of Texas to represent defendants in death penalty cases. She is a member in good standing of the Texas Bar Association, and the Ellis County Criminal Bar Association. She is also a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Dallas Criminal Defense Bar Association. Cindy is actively involved with the Ellis County Republican Women. While a prosecutor, she held memberships in the Texas District and County Attorneys Associations. She also is a member of both the Midlothian and Waxahachie Chambers of Commerce, and participated in leadership programs with both. Recognized for her expertise in juvenile law, Cindy was a speaker at a Juvenile Law seminar in August 2010.

A resident of Midlothian, Cindy has been married to Bob Ermatinger since 1998, is mom to one grown daughter, Katie, and step-mom to three more grown children, Bobby, Jamie and Kevin.
